missingWrote a review on Sept 24fresh fruitoutdoor poolhot water delay
We enjoyed two lovely nights here with amazing breakfast options, like fresh fruit and pastries, that really kick-started our day. Relaxing by the outdoor pool and indulging in a soothing massage was just what we needed after a long day out. The only small hiccup was that the hot water took a bit longer to kick in, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all! 😊

I enjoyed my stay at Gran Hotel Tourbillon & Lodge! The breakfast offered an abundance of fresh fruit and pastries, catering to different dietary needs like mine. The staff provided great assistance in finding vegetarian options, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby shops and attractions. Slight maintenance issues were present, but overall, a lovely experience!

Breakfast featured an incredible array of fresh fruits and pastries, including almond milk for non-dairy needs. The Chorizo steak at dinner was a highlight, offering great flavor despite its size. Unfortunately, the reception staff lacked warmth, greeting guests rudely and being unhelpful during check-in. Overall, while the hotel offered nice facilities and decent food, the service experience fell short.

This will save you time and money
An inviting stay with delicious breakfasts featuring fresh fruit and pastries. While a taxi ride to the falls is needed, the staff is exceptionally welcoming and assists with arranging tours. Rooms are spacious, but a bit noisy due to traffic. Dining options are reasonable, making it a solid choice for families.

Not bad for families but needs work
The hotel was clean enough for the most part and breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. The big surprise was the steak at dinner, best one I had during the trip and trust me I know my steaks.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable.

Breakfast was a true highlight! Fresh fruits and pastries galore, even almond milk for lactose-free folks like me. The restaurant staff also went above and beyond to help us find veggie options. Plus, the hotel is conveniently close to a few shops and an animal sanctuary!
A bit of a letdown with no room service and an old-looking hydro massage bath.

missingWrote a review on Aug 22decent breakfastgreat locationworn carpets
Decent breakfast spread featuring fresh fruits and pastries. The proximity to shopping and an animal sanctuary creates a unique appeal for exploring the area.
Facilities show noticeable wear. carpets look old and in need of replacement. The pool left much to be desired, requiring better maintenance for cleanliness. Limited dining options for dinner and a frustrating lack of variety in the beverage menu made meals less enjoyable. Overall, it felt dated and needed a good revamp.

The Gran Hotel Tourbillon & Lodge features spacious rooms with a floor-to-ceiling view of the grounds, offering both comfort and a pleasant ambiance. The hotel also has a good location with a bus stop and shops nearby. The quick laundry service was a thoughtful touch for my business needs.

I enjoyed my stay at Gran Hotel Tourbillon & Lodge. The breakfast blew me away with its fresh fruits, pastries, and even almond milk for lactose-free options. The restaurant staff really stood out. they went the extra mile to help me with veggie choices. The location is decent, with a few small shops nearby and an animal sanctuary just a short walk away. However, the room had a musty smell due to a leak from the ceiling. They cleaned up the carpet, but the problem persisted during heavy rainfall. That definitely affected my comfort. The hotel could improve by providing cold water for guests upon arrival, which would be nice in such a warm climate. Noise from the street started early, around 5 am, which made it hard to sleep in. The facilities, like the pool and spa, looked nice, but I didn't use them. Overall, the highlights were the breakfast and friendly staff, but the maintenance issues need urgent attention and improvements in guest amenities would enhance the experience.
